Our desire is to see the life of the Church restored back to her. First
of all, this life is found in Jesus Christ alone (He is the way, the truth, and
the life). True life is found in our continual relationship with
Jesus. Secondly, the life of the Church is found in the relationships that
we maintain among spiritual brothers and sisters. The reason the Church
has so little life is that it has so little relationship with Jesus and each
other.
An important part of Church life thousands of years ago was their continual
commitment to not only sharing their lives together, but to also meet together
in each others' homes. Many of the early apostles (as well as Jesus
Himself) spent a lot of time teaching in homes. So we have chosen our
Living Room as a place to have teachings that could be taught in a home group
setting. It is a room to help disciple others and to help them build their
houses upon the Rock.
