Attic

For many people, an attic is a place to store all of their unwanted junk.  For others, there is a mystique about attics.  You're just not quite sure what you'll find there.  It's also a place for thoughtful reflection, as you peruse the contents.  It's a place to reminisce--a place of memories--but also a place to contemplate your future.

To us, an attic is a place where old family heirlooms and other hidden treasures are found.  It is a place where we rediscover something important from our past--perhaps on old photo of a great-grandparent, an important letter from a relative, or old noteworthy newspaper clippings.  We can regain portions of our heritage in an attic.

Heritage is very important to the Lord.  So let's all take time to rediscover and uncover our heritage.  If we are going to succeed in the mission that God has given to us, then we are going to need to recover the things He has done in the past...valuing them and learning from them.
